We were contacted by AFM Real Estate with a job as big as they come: capture photos and video of a 14,000 acre piece of land in Iron County, WI. AFM provided us with plenty of property maps and a driving map to get us started. We marked the property outlines on OnX and downloaded them for offline use. The photos below show the individual pieces of land that make up this tract. There are many logging roads that connect each of the parcels.

It is hard to comprehend how large of an area this is, but we headed down to Wisconsin to see it for ourselves
AFM provided us with plenty of property maps and we outlined the parcel using my onXmaps, Inc. hunting app so we could use it offline during the shoot. Just us, our camera, and the drone alone in the middle of 14,000 acres. It was so magical being surrounded by that many trees, streams, lakes, and wildlife. It was like Ottawa National Forest (our favorite place ever), but somehow better. It truly felt like time stood still that day.
We captured tons of photos and videos from both the ground and the air. In the end, we delivered 25 aerial photos, 25 ground photos, and a two-minute property highlight video.
We was told by the listing agent, Trina Anderson, that the American Forest Management, Inc. marketing team in North Carolina loved the video! We was happy to hear that and knew the hard work paid off.
